We have been busy over the last month with updates to 1Passwd and thought it was time to share with everybody.
First of all, the website has had a complete overhaul and has been greatly simplified. We also added movies to the site to help demonstrate 1Passwd’s features in order to quickly get people up-to-speed. We plan on having more movies in the future and would love to hear from you on what you would like to see.
Secondly, we have been very impressed by how quickly a community has grown around 1Passwd in the forum. In less than a month, there have been over 100 posts in the forum! Please join us in the forums to have your questions answered and your suggestions heard.
Also, I wanted to mention that there is a new version of 1Passwd available. This new version is a minor release that address a problem in Firefox hanging on some websites. If you have experienced this problem, you should upgrade to the new release. If you are not having any troubles, it is best to wait for the next major release.
Lastly, I wanted to update you on the progress of version 1.5. We have been working hard on improving the install process so you can install 1Passwd and the browser extensions by simply dragging 1Passwd from the disk image into the /Applications folder. We are also adding an AutoUpdate feature so that 1Passwd will update itself without any manual installation steps. We plan on releasing 1.5 in mid-September.
