1Password 2.5.11 was released today to support the upgraded Safari that was included in the recent Mac OS X 10.5.2 (Leopard) update.
Also in this version we have improved 1Password for iPhone significantly as well as updated 1Password to work better with the Camino 2.6 Beta release as well as the bleeding edge of Firefox 3.
Here are the details on the biggest changes along with some screenshots; the full changelog is included at the end of this post.
Mac OS X 10.5.2 Support

1Password support for Safari was broken in the latest Leopard. The recent OS X 10.5.2 release from Apple included changes to Safari which temporarily prevented 1Password from loading.
This new version of 1Password adds support for the new Leopard release. Support for the Safari 3.1 beta will be coming soon.
Improved 1Password for iPhone
The recent 1Password for iPhone Logins announcement made a huge splash and got every iPhone user excited that they could finally login to websites on their iPhones just as easily as they do on their Mac.
For those that missed it, here is how you can easily access your 1Password Web Forms on iPhone:

During development of the 1Password Logins for iPhone I tested about 10 websites to verify it was ready for release. Immediately after the initial release, reports of web site specific problems started to be reported.
Most issues were caused by the same root causes, and this update addresses several of these problems. Several issues remain, and we will be having another update soon to tackle the remaining defects.
Firefox 3 Nightly Build Support

Normally we only target Firefox 3 Beta releases for 1Password support since the Mozilla codebase is in constant flux. In fact, the recent Firefox nightlies broke 1Password's support. Despite being a moving target, Chad has been trying to keep up with the rapid changes the Mozilla team is making and thanks to him in this release we once again support the latest Firefox 3 codebase.
Of course things remain in flux and support will likely be broken again in the next few weeks. Hopefully the Mozilla team will reduce the number of changes that break backwards compatibility. In any event, Chad will be ready :)
Camino 1.6 Beta 2 Support
![]()
Browser upgrades have been fast and furious over the last month! The Camino team just released Beta 2 of their upcoming 1.6 release.
The beta of Camino 1.6 has been out for a while, but the Macworld Expo and rotating vacations have kept us from supporting it right away.
1Password 2.5.11 includes changes to work with this latest and greatest version of Camino.
Upgrading to 1Password 2.5.11
The 1Password 2.5.11 release will automatically install itself when you start 1Password if you enabled the automatic Check For Updates preference. If the automatic update window does not appear, check your Preferences in the 1Password > Preferences > Update window and ensure "Automatically check for updates" is checked, as shown here:

You can also manually select File > Check For Updates and 1Password will automatically download and install the latest version.
